Meet Gabriella in 8th Grade

Finding a school that feels like a second home is a special experience, and for Gabriella, that place has been Holy Redeemer. Having been a student there since the second grade, she has seen firsthand how the school's community shapes and supports its students.

When asked what she loves most about Holy Redeemer, Gabriella stated that it is a place where students can be friends with everyone. The environment is warm and welcoming, and students are given excellent opportunities to get involved. As an eighth grader, Gabriella especially values the many chances older students receive to step up and help out with school events.

Faith also plays a central role in her experience. Gabriela notes that Holy Redeemer provides a beautiful space for students to grow in their faith, with regular access to Mass and confession serving as an important part of her journey.

Looking back at her time at Holy Redeemer, one specific memory from the third grade stands out the most to her. That was the year she met her first true friend. While she felt warmly welcomed when she first arrived in the second grade, it was in the third grade that those connections turned into lasting friendships. To Gabriella, the people at the school truly go out of their way to make everyone feel like they belong.

Of course, academics are another bright spot in her school days. Gabriela really enjoys her classes, and Science is by far her favorite subject. She loves that she gets to learn all about the earth and the vastness of space.

For Gabriella, Holy Redeemer has been much more than just a school. It is a place where she has found great friends, discovered her passion for science, and grown closer to her faith.
