Meet our 8th Graders: Marlene

We asked Marlene, one of our spectacular 8th graders to introduce herself and tell us what she enjoys about Holy Redeemer. She answered “My name is Marlene, and I have been at Holy Redeemer since the third grade. During my years at this school, I have gained a deeper understanding of my faith and what it means to me.

One thing I enjoy about this school is how we are encouraged to become closer to God. We attend mass once a week, and we have religion class four times a week. Occasionally, we go to the school chapel to spend some quiet time journaling and talking to God. Holy Redeemer not only teaches us about God, but helps us to personally get to know Him.

Overall, I am very grateful for being able to attend such an amazing school. Holy Redeemer has helped me to learn about the importance and significance of my faith.”
