Soccer Workshop with DCFC and Gallos Blancos Detroit

Soccer is always a passion at Holy Redeemer. It is a constant game at recess, and dozens of students sign up to play on a school team.

To bring our soccer program to the next level, we teamed up with DCFC and Gallos Blancos to host a workshop for our coaches.

During this exclusive training session for SW Detroit coaches, Director of Youth Development, Tyler McManus, modelled a training session with drills and games he uses for DCFC youth teams. Coach Tyler explained to our coaches how they could increase engagement and competition in training sessions, and our Holy Redeemer coaches have excitedly brought this energy to our school practices.

The first Holy Redeemer soccer games will take place on Saturday, September 3 against Divine Child JV and St. Pius X Varsity.
